Story Bridge Enterprises Ltd is a Dublin-based trading house connecting scrap generators, smelters, refiners, and industrial consumers across global markets. We trade base metals — both as scrap and refined pure metal.
Story Bridge Enterprises Ltd is incorporated and managed from Dublin, Ireland. We operate as a principal trader and broker in base metals — both scrap and refined pure metal products — buying and selling between counterparties across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. We do not handle physical material in Ireland; our role is to originate, structure, and execute international trades from our Dublin base.
We work with scrap generators, collectors, and industrial producers on the supply side, and with secondary smelters, refiners, and consumers on the demand side — acting as a trusted intermediary that adds value through market knowledge, counterparty access, and transaction execution.
We trade internationally as both principal and agent — structuring deals across the full metals value chain, from raw scrap through to refined metal, with all commercial activity managed from Dublin.
Our two trading activities follow distinct value chains. Scrap flows from generators toward smelters and processors; refined metal flows from producers toward industrial consumers. Story Bridge operates at the commercial centre of both.
In addition to scrap, we trade refined pure metal products sourced from certified smelters and refineries. These are supplied to industrial consumers, manufacturers, and traders requiring LME-deliverable or equivalent specification material.
International metals trading requires careful attention to trade documentation, waste shipment regulation, and counterparty due diligence. We manage this rigorously on every transaction.
Whether you have metal to sell, material to source, or are interested in a longer-term trading relationship, we'd like to hear from you. All enquiries are handled directly by our trading team in Dublin.

Story Bridge trades internationally as both principal and agent in base metals including copper, aluminium, lead, zinc, and nickel — in the form of scrap, refined pure metal, and related products. All physical transactions involve material moving directly between origin and destination countries. Story Bridge does not import or export material through Ireland.
Story Bridge does not provide investment advice, financial planning services, or regulated financial services to third parties. Any reference to market pricing is for indicative commercial purposes only.
A binding contract between Story Bridge and a counterparty is formed only upon the issuance and acceptance of a written sales contract, confirmation, or deal ticket signed or acknowledged by both parties. Verbal agreements, indicative bids, or email exchanges do not constitute binding contracts unless confirmed in writing.
Story Bridge reserves the right to withdraw any indicative price or offer at any time prior to formal contract execution.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all prices are quoted with reference to the London Metal Exchange (LME) official cash or three-month settlement prices, plus or minus an agreed premium or discount. The applicable pricing date, quotation period, and reference price shall be as specified in the relevant sales contract.
Story Bridge accepts no liability for losses arising from market price movements between the date of an indicative quote and the date of formal contract execution.
Payment terms are as agreed in each individual sales contract. Standard terms are payment by telegraphic transfer (TT) or irrevocable letter of credit (LC) at sight or on agreed deferred terms. Story Bridge reserves the right to require alternative payment security depending on the counterparty's credit standing and jurisdiction.
Late payment may attract interest at a rate to be specified in the relevant sales contract.
In principal transactions where Story Bridge takes title to material, title and risk shall pass in accordance with the Incoterms specified in the relevant sales contract. Where Story Bridge acts as agent, title passes directly between seller and buyer and Story Bridge assumes no title risk.
Material shall conform to the specification agreed in the relevant sales contract. In the absence of a specific specification, material shall conform to LME Grade or equivalent industry standard for the relevant metal and form. Any quality disputes shall be referred to an independent assayer or umpire agreed by both parties, whose findings shall be binding.
Each transaction shall be supported by appropriate trade documentation including, as applicable:
Both parties are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable export and import documentation requirements in their respective jurisdictions.
Both parties warrant that they hold all necessary licences, permits, and regulatory approvals required to conduct the relevant transaction in their jurisdiction. Story Bridge reserves the right to request evidence of such approvals prior to entering into any transaction.
Counterparties dealing in scrap materials warrant that all material offered for sale has been lawfully obtained and that applicable waste transfer, environmental, and anti-metal theft regulations have been complied with.
Story Bridge is subject to Irish anti-money laundering (AML) legislation and conducts Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence on all counterparties prior to entering into transactions. All counterparties agree to provide such documentation as Story Bridge reasonably requests to satisfy its AML and KYC obligations, including proof of identity, business registration, and beneficial ownership.
Story Bridge reserves the right to decline to enter into any transaction where satisfactory KYC documentation cannot be obtained.
Story Bridge's liability in connection with any transaction shall not exceed the contract value of the relevant transaction. Story Bridge shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity arising from any transaction or failure to complete a transaction.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations under a contract where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, sanctions, government action, strikes, or natural disasters. The affected party shall notify the other as soon as practicable and both parties shall use reasonable endeavours to mitigate the impact.
These Terms of Trade and any contract entered into pursuant to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, unless the parties have agreed in the relevant sales contract to refer disputes to arbitration.
Story Bridge reserves the right to amend these Terms of Trade at any time. Any amendments will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Transactions entered into prior to any amendment shall be governed by the terms in force at the time of contract execution.
